Mesquite Creek Outfitters is looking for Team Members to join our family. We are looking for folks who…

• Create a welcoming ambiance for our guests

• Greet and wait on guests providing the highest levels of friendliness and service

• Assist guests with purchases at the mercantile

• Prepare meat and cheese trays, and other snacks for guests

• Prep the mercantile and the taproom for start of shift and end of shift duties

Job Purpose:

To sell and serve alcoholic beverages to guests that are of legal drinking age and to maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked taproom, all while in compliance with legal requirements. Team members are responsible for checking valid identification of guests who appear 30 years of age or younger, to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol products.

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask and serve several quests at once

• Professional communication skills required

• Ability to take direction, develop, and work in a team environment

• Work calmly and execute job duties effectively under pressure

• Prior experience as a server is preferred

• Can pass TABC server seller certification test (administered within first week of employment)

• Can operate the Point of Sale System (POS) on the IPAD

Job Tasks:

• Clocks in and out on time and is ready for the work day

• Greets customers in a courteous and professional fashion

• Is engaged with customers while serving

• Informs guests about current beers and wines

• Communicates effectively with management about supply levels and any issues that arise

• Maintains cleanliness of bar and seating areas

• Rotates and restocks bar coolers and wine racks

• Changes taps on empty kegs

• Pours and serves alcoholic beverages to legal age guests at bar and often serves food to bar guests

• Recognizes levels of intoxication and prevents guests from becoming intoxicated

• Maintains a safe work environment at all times

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift/move 50 lbs
